Idaho is the 43^rd state in the USA; it became a state on July 3, 1890.

The name "Idaho" was used for a steamship which traveled the Columbia River. "Idaho" is a coined or invented word. 

Idaho produces 72 types of precious and semi-precious stones. Some of these stones can be found nowhere else in the world.

Idaho is a land of rugged beauty and millions of acres of wilderness. With a landscape that ranges from subalpine to desert, granite mountains to fertile farms,

lakes and waterfalls to canyons and gorges.

Idaho has 3,100 miles of rivers (more than any other state).The Idaho potato is known around the globe.
